Integrations Overview
Waypoint integrates with the tools your team already uses. Connecting your project management, communication, and support platforms enables automated workflows, bi-directional data sync, and pipeline actions that reduce manual work.
Available Integrations
Navigate to Integrations in the left sidebar to see all available connections. Each integration appears as a card showing its connection status.

| Integration | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Jira | Link engineering tickets to escalation cases. Create comments and transition tickets via pipelines. View linked tickets on case Resource tabs. |
| Notion | Sync knowledge base content to provide context for Deep Research queries. |
| Slack | Send notifications to channels, interact with Chip in Slack, and trigger pipeline actions via messages. |
| Zendesk | Import support conversations automatically for case enrichment and pattern analysis. |
| GitHub | Link code issues to cases, add comments via pipelines, and track engineering progress. |
| Salesforce | Connect CRM data for customer context on escalation cases. |
Connecting an Integration
- Navigate to Integrations in the left sidebar
- Click the card for the integration you want to connect
- Follow the OAuth authentication flow to authorize Waypoint
- Configure the integration settings (project selection, field mapping, channel configuration, etc.)
- Click Save to complete the setup
📝 Note: Only administrators can configure integrations. Each integration requires appropriate API credentials and permissions in the external tool. Coordinate with your IT team before connecting production integrations.
Integration Status
- Connected (green) — The integration is active and syncing data
- Not Connected (grey) — The integration is available but has not been set up
What Integrations Enable
Once connected, integrations unlock capabilities across Waypoint:
- Pipeline Actions — The Pipeline Builder can use action nodes for connected tools (e.g., Jira Comment, Slack Message, GitHub Comment)
- Case Resources — Linked tickets and references appear on the Resources tab of escalation cases
- Data Enrichment — Support conversations and documents from connected tools feed into Deep Research and AI analysis
- Notifications — Automated alerts to Slack channels or Jira tickets when escalation events occur
